The interaction between your inverter and OPzV battery can determine system efficiency and battery longevity:
- Float and Boost Voltage Settings: Manufacturers often recommend float voltage around 2.25 V/cell and boost (absorption) around 2.35 V/cell. Deviation can lead to under- or over-charging.
- Low-Voltage Cutoff (LVC): Setting this properly prevents over-discharge. Typically, LVC is set around 1.80 V/cell.
- Inverter Modes: Avoid using UPS or generator-priority modes unless needed, as they can cause excessive cycling.
- Data Logging: Enable logging to track trends and diagnose irregularities.
